HALSTEAD
BAND CONCERTS
The Friends of Halstead Public Gardens team have arranged for
two Band Concerts in the Public Gardens this summer.
The first will be the Long Melford Silver Band playing on
SUNDAY 8th AUGUST. Concert will start at 2.30p.m.
The second concert will feature the Essex Police Band and will
be held on SUNDAY 5th SEPTEMBER starting at 2.30p.m.
Refreshments will be available - bring a seat and a picnic if
you wish. (provision has been made for the concerts to take place
in Queen's Hall if the weather is not suitable for outside events).

Saturday 21st. Probably the most entertaining band around.
'Redwood'. and then it's our big one - 'The Saint Anne's
Castle Charity Garden Party', 'Be A Happy Hippy' Themed Fancy
Dress. All proceeds going to The Essex Air Ambulance . From Mid-day
following our annual Soccer Match for The Charlie Brignall Remembrance
Trophy against 'The Dog & Partridge'. Along with all the music,
Bouncy Castle, Plate Smashing, Burger Bar, Beer Tent, Face Painting,
Bric-A-Brac, Tombola, Coconut Shy, Tug-O-War, Cake Stall etc etc.

We present from 1pm - 2.30pm, Open Mic' hosted by Jane White &

evening from 8-ish...Inside the pub.... "OGfest' with bands
including 'Koopa', 'Another Dead Hero', 'Stormchild', 'Blindfold'
& 'Osmium Guillotine'. Last year we made £5,500 for The Essex
Air Ambulance. A hard act to follow. But we'll do our best!
